Brook, Malan prove points to guide England to easy T20 win over New Zealand

Chester-le-street, on August 31.
Harry Brook and Dawid Malan helped England win easily against New Zealand in the first of four Twenty20 matches. They used their skills to prove their ability on the field.
Brook and Malan played well together and helped England win by scoring a total of 97 runs. They achieved their goal of reaching 140 runs in the game with six overs remaining. The match took place at Chester-le-Street and England won by seven wickets.
England’s selectors made a surprising decision to not include Brook in the squad for the 50-over World Cup in India, which begins in October. However, his recent performance is proving that decision was incorrect.
People think he is one of the best batsmen in the world. He did really well in The Hundred tournament and was very powerful against New Zealand, hitting three sixes and two fours.
Malan performed well and scored a lot of runs, which was important because he hadn’t been playing well lately. He reached fifty runs for the 16th time in T20 international matches. This helped to stabilize the game after Jonny Bairstow got out early. England was responding to New Zealand’s score of 139-9.
Liam Livingstone, who is 10 years old, helped England win the game by hitting a very big six. Jos Buttler, who is the captain of England’s cricket team and one of their best batters, didn’t even have to bat.
Malan and Livingstone are part of England’s World Cup team, and Brook wants to be included as well. The final decision on the team going to India will be made in September.
In the game, New Zealand had the chance to bat first. Glenn Phillips did really well and scored the most points for the team with 41 points from 38 balls. However, the team faced difficulties after losing three players in a short amount of time, which started when they had 25 points without losing any players.
In his first T20 international game, bowler Brydon Carse took 3 wickets for 23 runs in four overs. Luke Wood, who was hit for three sixes by Finn Allen in the first over of the match, had figures of 3 wickets for 37 runs.
The second game of the series will take place in Manchester on Friday. Please rephrase this text in simpler words.
