Irish Open: Diksha Dagar rises to 3rd in LET’s Order of Merit

Dublin, September 4th Indian golfer Diksha Dagar didn’t do as well as she hoped in the tournament. She scored a 2-under 70 in the final round and finished in seventh place at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open. This was her sixth time finishing in the top 10 this year. The competition was close, and she ended up with a total score of 13-under, losing by three shots. Diksha’s seventh-place finish also moved her up to third place in the Race to Costa Del Sol, which is a ranking system for the Ladies European Tour. She passed her fellow countrywoman Aditi Ashok, who has been playing golf in both the LET and the Ladies PGA in the US. At the end of the season, the best four players will win a spot in the Ladies PGA Tour. Diksha was in the lead for the first two days but dropped to third place on the third day. Tvesa Malik had two strong rounds with scores of 69 and 70 throughout the week. She started off well in the first two rounds, but ended up finishing in 36th place and was the second-highest ranked Indian player. Vani Kapoor, who ranked 71st, was in T-54 position and Ridhima Dilawari, who ranked 80th, was in 69th position. Amandeep Drall did not make it to the next round.
