Monsoon covers entire country six days early, advances in remaining parts of Punjab and Haryana: IMD

On Sunday, the southwest monsoon covered the entire country, six days ahead of the normal date. This was after it advanced in Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted normal rainfall for July in most parts of the country, except in eastern Uttar Pradesh and south Bihar.
