SA to tour SL for limited-overs series in September.
South Africa will visit Sri Lanka for a restricted overs series interestingly after 2018. They will play three One-Day Internationals and as numerous T20 Internationals from September 2 to 14, the two the sheets affirmed on Friday (July 30).
“We are charmed to have another visit affirmed for the Proteas men’s group with the ICC T20 World Cup not far off,” said CSA Acting CEO, Pholetsi Moseki. “Playing against quality resistance in the subcontinent is the most ideal way for our group to plan for this occasion and we are appreciative to Sri Lanka Cricket for obliging us during this season where timetables are exceptionally consolidated.
“With an ICC white-ball world occasion in every time of the following three, game time is brilliant for each group and we are anticipating watching our group play as they keep on adding to the structure squares of their 2021 T20 World Cup planning.”
On their visit in 2018, South Africa dominated the five-game ODI series 3-2 and Sri Lanka dealt with the oddball T20 game dominate. Every one of the games will be played in Colombo.
