Tomato prices shoot up to Rs 160 per kg in MP’s Raisen
In Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh, the prices of tomatoes have drastically increased to Rs 160 per kg, which is the highest in the state. This is due to the high demand and low supply of tomatoes. The same situation is seen in the rest of the country. Most of the tomatoes produced in the district are sent to southern India and Nepal.
