UAE and Oman Cricket team fly home from Namibia as Omicron hits CWCL2 Tri-series
The United Arab Emirates and Oman cricket crews will be getting back right on time from Windhoek today, as worries encompassing the rise of the Omicron strain of Coronavirus and resulting travel limitations forced by a few nations on voyagers from Southern Africa constrained the delay of the rest of the CWC League 2 three-dimensional series between the different sides and has Namibia.
The UAE declared the suspension of inbound departures from a few Southern African nations on Friday, and passage limitations on travelers who had gone through Namibia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Botswana or Mozambique. This follows comparable limitations forced by the UK, the United States and the European Union, which had incited the deserting of the continuous Women’s World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe just as the deferment of the last two rounds of the Netherlands CWC Super League series against South Africa.
The Omani and Emirati groups are perceived to be returning on a similar flight, contracted by the ICC, as the groups getting back from the Women’s Qualifier in Harare. The Dutch stay in Pretoria anticipating bringing home to the Netherlands.
