‘We can turn it around’: Ireland captain Paul Stirling hopeful of denying India series sweep

On August 21, in Dublin, Ireland.
Ireland’s captain, Paul Stirling, said that the second T20I match against India did not have any positive outcomes for his team. However, Stirling remains hopeful that they can avoid losing all three games in the series.
India won the three-match T20I series against Ireland on Sunday by 33 runs in the second game. With this win, India now has a 2-0 lead, which cannot be surpassed by Ireland. The captain of Ireland said that it was hard for their bowlers to pitch the ball to the Indian batsmen during the game. We had opportunities. We didn’t completely understand it. We did well for all 40 overs. I believe we allowed them to escape in the final few overs. Their hitters started performing well and it was challenging to bowl to them. We need to improve in certain areas. “We can change things and hopefully achieve a victory,” Paul Stirling said during a post-match interview.
In simpler words: India scored a total of 185 runs from 5 wickets. Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 58 runs and Rinku Singh scored 38 runs in a limited number of deliveries.
Andrew Balbirnie tried to reach the target all by himself but didn’t get help from the other players. Because of this, the home team only scored 152 runs and lost the important game.
Balbirnie scored 72 runs for Ireland, which helped their chances of winning. However, Bishnoi, Krishna, and Bumrah from India took two wickets each, securing India’s win.
Pacer Jasprit Bumrah bowled exceptionally well in the final over of a T20I match, not allowing the batsmen to score any runs. This helped India win the three-match series against Ireland with a convincing 33-run victory in Dublin on Sunday.
Bumrah played his second game after getting injured and showed that he is good at bowling towards the end of the match. He took two wickets in a row and helped his team win.
When Bumrah bowled the last over of the game, he needed to prevent the opposing team from scoring 37 runs. He successfully took a wicket and didn’t allow any runs to be scored, except for four leg byes at the end. This helped India secure a strong 2-0 advantage in the series.
